I honestly didn’t know where to start between getting a few of my business documents and my Will and Power of Attorney.

The Stuff We Like
Excellent Customer Service.
This is a priority for me. I only had to contact them once, and my questions were quickly answered.
They even provided more information than I asked for.
Tons of Forms.
As mentioned, and you will soon see, there are more forms than you need.
I started this process by looking for a business plan template.
It was surprising to find out they have so much more! The best part is that everything is in one place. There is no need to have separate accounts with different companies!
Easy to use.
I’ve had my share of dealing with legal stuff. Most of the time, legal forms are long and confusing.
Using the templates took most of the guesswork out. I was also done with everything I needed in about 10 minutes.
I did go back to change and update a few things. But getting everything started was what I needed to get the ball rolling.
Things to be Aware of
Cost.
This is an issue with everything.
Nobody wants to spend money on anything these days. Especially things you don’t know you NEED.
As discussed below, the price is a bit high, but not bad once you realize what you all get.
Document Formatting.
After saving the forms in PDF (a simple click of the button), I realized some of the formatting was off.
Extra periods at the end of sentences and extra blank lines between paragraphs.
Most of these fixes are easy. You go back into the document and click on edit. But it would be nice if it was automatic.
Legal Stuff
There is one thing we are all thinking: Is there any way of confirming these will hold up in court?
I don’t know, but I would love to find out.
Since using LawDepot, I learned they have a team of lawyers who help create each document.
As you can see, there are both good and bad things with using any service. But, after filling out and reading the documents I have, I realize they all seem legitimate to me.
